I fully expected things to get really really ugly as the video progressed. The Integra owner probably did the smartest thing by leaving.

Yeah, GTFO would probably be pretty high on my list of things to do in that situation....

Too bad the "kid" doesn't really apply to the driver...

Yea, there was a thread about the transaction and how much the kid loved it. Its too bad this is the one that was sacrificed for someone's stupidity...

They show up all the time at the meets here. Funny thing is that most of the hoonage is these idiots in their pickup trucks, burnouts, slides, etc...
One of them does a rolling burnout or something on the way out leaving a huge cloud of cheap tire smoke and then the cops come and kick the people with cars out that were just standing around talking. I don't go much any more, it sucks, there are people there I like hanging out with but the stupidity level keeps going up and my tolerance keeps going down.

The vast majority of people who drive those trucks (late model fullsize dodge), seem to be less than intelligent. To me this is why it makes sense for fiat to want to move away from the redneck hemi image for the brand, people like this are not the kind of advertising you want.

Can you imagine how much news coverage this would be getting if he were driving a Tundra? "Local man survives harrowing sudden acceleration accident in his Toyota - story at 11".

So what do you think happened? He tried to squeal his tires in reverse leading to a really bitchin J-turn, but had the truck in drive then he just paniced and didn't hit the brakes quickly enough? I assume his slow reaction times will be blamed on marijuana.

I gather that in a moment of braggadocio-inspired genius, he decided to prove the superiority of his Big Man Truck to the puny import tuner cars by jumping the embankment, and the jostling/weed conspired to make him miss the brake pedal.

Pure speculation on my part.

Whatever happened, I'm not sure one can blame the mary jane for anything but exacerbating his pre-existing stupidity.

Also, if that guy's 30, I'm feeling a lot better about the way I look as I age.

As The Gambler himself said: you gotta know when to walk away, know when to run.
