No worries! Thanks.
I had an old laptop that my son was using to stream music and it met its demise when some college student casually tossed a set of keys or something and broke the display. I figured, why not a side computer project to help with the car project? Simple fix and now I have a working laptop!
I have an old laptop so I just downloaded and installed the "Mike's easy tools" file today.
(but I haven't gotten my cable yet)
Sounds like it'll be useful to clear codes after fixing stuff.
Curious what people here on GRM been able to successfully do with INPA and NCS Expert and NCS Dummy....?
I've used INPA a few times. Its seems quite thorough. The German language thing is a bit of an obstacle, though.
I may hook it up again to see if I can get any more info on the P0456 I keep getting. Changed fuel cap, purge solenoid. Need to check plumbing from the tank, but not sure how best to get eyes on it. I can clear it, and it will be gone for months, then pop up again, usually right after a fuel fill-up. As mentioned above, cap is brand new.
That one sounds challenging.
Is one of these softwares able to tell me things like torque specs for suspension?

What do you need the specs for? I have all of the TIS stuff.

I picked up a Haynes manual shortly after getting the car. I'm old, so I like print and pictures. Also, I will check online. Most of this stuff is pretty easy to find.
