Uhhh...
In reply to John Welsh :
I know, right.
I usually just shrug my shoulders when I hear about weird, freaky stuff (because California lifer) but this is just too nasty.
Where's that "don't want dog meme" when you need it.
Added later...
I am trying to wrap my head around how they did this as all the research has been on beef and fish. Human cells is something we can do with CHO but god have mercy on who ever eats something made from them. Growing just muscle tissue is possible from humans and has been done at very small scale and usually for 3D printing of tissue.
Please let this be a huge joke.

Apparently, Harry Harrison (author of Make Room! Make Room!) got his dates closer than George Orwell did...
unless the movie makers added the year.
(read the story so long ago, I don't remember if H H had a date in it)

Speaking of Harry Harrison, someone needs to do a Stainless Steel Rat movie soon.
(I choose to talk about Harrison rather than celebrity salami)
In reply to Antihero (Forum Supporter) :
That might be too subversive for today, but heck, I'd watch it.
In reply to Antihero (Forum Supporter) :
YES!
my first experience with H H was three SSR stories in one book. Great stuff.

BTW, I did not see the movie till early '80s or so, and did not remember 2022 was mentioned... but Prince came out with "party like 1999" around then, and even that was far enough away, I didn't really know I'd live to see that! Much less 2022!
I joke about (and it's not a complete joke...) "I was 35 before I realized I'd live to see 30"

Was not thinking about Ron in particular, but I at first thought it would be a joke based around that thought!

Started to like a bit of them in the late 70's. But not sure what song that would be. The first vinyl 33 1/3 I bought with my own money, was a Aerosmith Live album. It was the worst sounding noise I had ever heard at the time. And then Tyler really went off the tracks in the '80s, so, can't say I'm a fan. Do still like some of there stuff.
