I am not really partial to edging between fenders and flares. It looks goofy.
I prefer exposed rivets...
Would you be allowed to drive it? I mean, something that pristine most people would be scared to drive.
I'd drive it to car shows, cruise nights, and such. It's really clean, but I couldn't keep it in the garage. I'd keep it as clean as possible though.

+1. Tim, that sounds like a comment on BAT, not GRM. I don't understand too nice to drive....it is a car. There is no too nice to drive, but there is too nice to not drive.
Well, it would be annoying to have stone chips and all that. I know it would annoy me.
OTOH I like Jay Leno's idea of making it a 100 point resto, then drive it down to 80...
was just looking at it again. That colour red could support chrome very well. I would not have shot the rear bumper and gas cap body coloured.
I read this today, and thought it applicable.

Kind of, but food rots pretty fast.
Joey
it is. I had my Ti off the road for the winter. Engine mounts turned to mush and the glovebox took weeks to stop falling open when hitting bad bumps.
The waterpump died a month after getting the car back on the road too

Not overnight! But I know what you mean.

my e28 got 10x worse just from sitting a month or so when I had a concussion and wasn't allowed to drive. and it attracted ants. lol.
Therm went out almost immediately after I started driving again, trans mounts went to hell, etc etc ad infinitum. I miss it though

My e28's been sitting for months . Starts up first twist of the key, though. Still, I'd better take it for a drive!
