I like both, but the Daytona for sure.

Well, I'm talking with JJ Best Banc about it. I'll probably get turned down due to debt load with the leases on my cars right now and a bit of credit card debt trying to get my wife's busineess off the ground, but it never hurts to try. The hard part is figuring out how much to ask for, beceu with 2 days left on the auction, it could stall out or, since reserve is met and the car will be sold, it could jump up another $5-10k...

I do have someone interested in buyng the Volt outright (which I'm not sure how it works with a lease), which would free up money for the Daytona, but I don't think I can do the deal in time...

Good luck Chris. I know how you feel. I'm not sure what I would do if the '07 MINI the ex- and I sold a couple of years ago came up for sale. I loved that car, but I'm not sure I'd want to take on that debt right now either.

It is going to stall right around 17,500 based on my previous sales of Burnie cars. I can tell you straight up that I had ~15:1 people bid who could actually pay on the Daytona's and got the run around for almost a year on one that I thought would be a super quick flip. If it moves above 18.5K and they actually pay for the car I would be extremely surprised.

Especially with the title issue which cuts out the California market.

yeah, JJ Best said no. The car was fine, but my debt load was too high due to the cars. Can't get rid of the cars fast enough to make the end of the auction. So hopefully, the guy wil put me in touch with the buyer.

I think we're going to crowd-fund it.

Didn't 75s used to be smog exempt? Or is it some other reason that you wouldn't be able to register it.

Registered as a 72 Ferrari Replica which puts it on the black list for California. Registered as a 75 Corvette I could bring it in. The state would only consider it a re-body, IE like a 356 speedster on a VW chassis. So no SB100 required.
