I own it, on a DVD, I bought, with actual money, in the store, on first release night.
Sorry, Maroon. I win.

Tremors is a great movie, nothing to be embarrassed about there.
I've got no interest in The Love Bug, but I bet my 5yo son and his friends would totally dig it. I know I did when I was that age.
Since everyone is sharing. I am ashamed to admit I have seen:

Only if you are otaku.
Talladega Nights. Seriously. SWMBO forced me to watch once it because I didn't understand Will Ferrell's humor. Since he was satirizing a subject I knew something about, I finally got it.
Oh, and Fried Green Tomatoes. I know it's a "chick flick", but I grew up in a series of small Southern towns, and I can probably name a real person to every personality type in the film.

Oh god even the second one!? barf
I will guiltily watch the first and Tokyo Drift, but the second one was just horrible.
SWMBO actually had me watching "Sex and the City" for a while. She has the whole collection and I'm pretty sure we made it through most of the series (not voluntary at first, not the whole series at once, and not always were we completely sober)
Then there was this time we were in California and she had me watch the BBC version of "Pride and Prejudice" I was surprised! (I've been watching it voluntarily since)
I feel so ashamed.
Ps I actually spent money to own the first Fast and Furious movie (recently)

You be nice. The scene where they unload the Evo off the Dekotora truck? MAGICAL.
Also, yes I own all the F&F movies. AND ALL of Initial D. Including a "stage" I'm pretty sure is a bootleg. Hell, I'm pretty sure more of it is a bootleg. The subs are HILARIOUSLY bad. Also, I love that show.

I actually caught some of that on HBO and had to stop watching it....
.... because I really wanted to see the whole movie from the beginning!

"Gallo 12 or Gallo24?"

I wasn't aware there was anything wrong with Gladiator.

Ice Pirates is a classic. I used to watch that one every time it was on cable. Its like the prequel to Spaceballs...only funny.
The Postman is a good book ruined by Costner...of course, I've liked all Brin's stuff. I want to see the Uplift trilogy (sextology?) give the Lord of the Rings treatment. But I also think The Destroyer would make for a great anime too ala Samurai Champloo or Ninja Scroll.
Speaking of ruined books, I liked Sahara. My coworker is a Cussler fan and likes to point out all the ways the book is better. Its a discovery adventure like Nic Cage's National Treasure movies. I liked those too. I have all 3 on DVD.
Now on to chick flicks. I own Immortal Beloved on BluRay. Gary Oldman overacting, great music and Isabella Rossellini; whats not to like?
"Mannequin." I wish I could remember the particulars. I'll assume I was being held prisoner at the time.

That was pretty good. I remember her turning back to the mannequin on the motorcycle. just don't remember what model

How about Splash?
Darryl Hannah as a mermaid? WHY WAS IT NOT RATED R? (Yes I am aware of that one publication that took tasteful photos of her expressing her love for mother earth by communing in her natural state)
Also, for those that are fans of trash cinema, track down a movie called AAAAAAAAAH Zombies. I won't ruin it for you but it was bad enough that the wife almost divorced me for making her watch it. It's also one of the most hilarious (if unintentional) things i've ever seen.

Even funnier than Zombie Strippers?

Uh, Elizabeth Cuthbert? Hellllooooooooooooooooo. She was definitely at her hottest in this movie IMO!
Hungary Bill wrote: I get some pretty mixed reactions when I tell people that "The Princess Bride" is the best movie in the ever.
A lot of people can't get over the title association. The Princess Bride rocks, and what rocks about it has virtually nothing to do with the princess (besides she is hot).
As for Grease, I'm a sucker for musicals, so Grease is definitely up there on all-time-favourties.
MG Bryan wrote:Lesley wrote: I watched Gladiator six times.I wasn't aware there was anything wrong with Gladiator.
Nope. But trust me, if you watched it with my sister and I, you'd be embarrassed.
I watched and enjoyed both "Waterworld" and "The Postman".
I'll even admit it being my idea for the wife and I to watch "Away We Go" even though it was a massive chick flick.
I think those are my worst.
