It is a US-based service... meaning that it can only issue +1 prefix phone numbers, but once you sign up, the service works in 181 countries. I've used mine in Costa Rica, all over Europe, and Canada for 6 years now.

This is something we've identified as a way to improve communication. Standard phone calls are not what we want (it's what we've done for years and it sucks) for reasons I stated earlier.
I get it.... a group text isn't as convenient, especially because at least 4 of the people you are texting won't see it. I would be one of them. I would pick up my phone and realized I missed 30 texts and 12 people had died or become separated from an appendage.
