Order placed.
Ordered delayed.
Order marked as damaged.
Order finally marked as undeliverable.
Not sure I have had that happen before, so I just reordered everything.

Yeah that means they destroyed it in transit. We had a rash of them in 2019 and stopped using them for years because of it.
It has happened to me twice, both promptly refunded. In one case I did receive the item a week or two later and they said "keep it".
I assume "undeliverable" = "lost", which is logically sound.
I have had it a few times. I had it 3 times on 1 order. It hit the same black hole in shipping and disappeared. Usually i end up getting the package later, having been repacked or at least re-labeled. Maybe once the package number changes, amazon gives up.
Twice.
Once for an over-the-range microwave. They processed the return and refund, I ordered another and they delivered two of them. I tried multiple times to return the extra but since they had already canceled the order they couldn't figure out how to process the return. I finally gave up. It's still sitting in the garage.
The second time was for a teak porch bench. They processed the refund, I ordered another. I ended up with two of them as well. This time I didn't even try. The extra I finally gave to my mother.
So, the odds are if you ordered another one, you will end up with two and returning the extra isn't worth the hassle.
I had that happen with a painted fiberglass tonneau cover. I believe it was a pricing error as it was priced over $1k less than the other paint colors and I jumped on it. It even had free freight shipping to my door.
When I got the notification, I thought that they had discovered the mistake and immediately canceled the transaction. But it turned out that it was damaged in shipping. I requested a replacement and that one was delivered 3 days later in pristine condition.
Guess we’ll see how this sorts out. They said I’d get a refund, so not worried about that.
I ordered a gallon of quick detail along with my new insulated drink bottle. If one was damaged in shipping, just a little surprised they didn’t just automatically send a replacement rather than waiting for me to reorder it.
Had that happen with me when UPS destroyed or lost a set of leaf springs. Same situation - they refunded me, and I had to reorder.
Had that happen with USPS a couple weeks ago on a glass (black) whiteboard. Ordered another as a replacement, and the USPS one showed up the next day.
I had a 1.0 ecoboost timing tool kit not show up until a week after the car was finished, and the refund was in my account.
I’m also waiting on a package via FedEx and saw this update this evening:
The package has since left for its next stop.
I had a bottle of meguiars 205 come exploded and opened. They wanted me to send it back. I'm like, uhhh you want me to send back half an empty bottle. Then the csr was like, oh good point, keep it. And they just sent me a new one. It's so much cheaper for them to just refund or reship items than to waste time looking for lost product or figuring out what caused the issue in the first place.
I tried to order a rare bike shock through Amazon twice, both times it became undeliverable without reason, eventually I got refunded (and they gave me some store credit for the trouble). Eventually I got the shock by having a GRMer order it from another shop and then forward it to me in Canada.
I’m thinking for the third attempt, I’ll place separate orders for the water bottle and the QD. Maybe that will help.
Third time’s the charm, right?
I’m guessing placing the quick detail and the water bottle in the same box is causing the issue, so what if I separate the two?
Bottle ordered:
Since it’s marked as shipped, can I now safely order the quick detail?
We didn't get notification, but last year when we ordered a new mattress, it just never showed up with no update to the tracking.
Contacted Amazon, they sent us a new one, then the original showed up a week later. So one of our friends got a free, new King mattress.
