We are expecting some wicked snow up here in MI. I just want all of you who are expecting snow to know that I just started my snow blower and got it warmed up. That means there will be no snow.
You are very welcome.

It was 80 here today. Box up some of that snow and send it down here. We haven't had enough cold weather to call it winter yet.

Now you're just tempting fate. Mother nature will make you pay for your hubris.

The Death Storm has us squarely in it's sights. I will try to maintain communication as long as I can, but sooner or later, we're all goners up here. All I ask of my southern brethren is a proper burial when you happen upon our frozen corpses in a few months.
this winter was an epic fail. I have nothing to thank you for! just north of me is set to get 7'' snow, none here :(

So how did you fare? They were calling for 6-8 up here, then another 1-3 this am. They have been going ON and ON about it for 24 hours. I woke up this morning to about 1" on the grass and wet pavement.
I love it when chicken little is wrong.
I got some (~1/2") snow in Appleton, WI. But 25 miles north in Green Bay, it was clean. I'm not shoveling, it's March. We'll have 40°F in a couple days hopefully.
About 7-8" this morning. So a little shoveling/snowblowing. It's all slushy and warmer in the next few days - so it will be gone pretty soon.
We are due for 6" this weekend, they say. Its been a very girly winter so far.
I learned to ignore the doom-sayers on the weather forecasts 25 years ago when I was a travelling salesman. The radio would be talking about certain death from going outdoors, with the horrifying levels of snowfall and wind...I'd hit the road, and it would be what I consider to be normal winter driving conditions. Then there was the time that it really WAS certain death, but I ignored them due to all the Chicken Little acts in the past...
I wore a T-shirt to work is morning. In February. And I'm hot. In February. But as usual, tomorrow (Saturday) is going to suck.

About an inch so far, but it is still snowing. I think it stayed warm longer than they thought, so a lot of it ended up as rain.
Chicken Little indeed. As usual.
Yeah over here on the east side of MI I'm looking out my window at clear roads and no accumulation whatsoever.
Flint, maybe 3" with wet roads. A friend in Mio called just now, 6" with snow on the roads. For this snow shower schools were cancelled today
I'm helping the cause. I bought 4 new snow tires, 4 steel rims, 4 tpms sensors. My buddy spent $1500 on a snow blower. It's gonna be ok
We're seeing some snow right now, but it's not sticking. Then... 50s for the rest of the 10 day forecast.
Interesting.
I was hoping for at least ONE decent snow storm this year, would have even been OK with the Snowpocalypse we had last February now that I have a vehicle for it.
I'm just fearing the summer is going to be even more brutal than last.
