The old guard that gets the big bonuses for winning races was not allowed to win, they gave the good cars to the up and comers.
They shut down one cylinder on Lewis' car.
They limited Kinetic recovery on Alonso's car.
Kimi never got up to speed because Alonso's contract won't allow it.
What happened to Button?
They never turned up the power in Vettle's car.
The Teams scored good points and had to pay no bonuses for the podium finishers...
No. The constructor's championship is worth huge amounts of money to the teams, there's no way they'd deliberately sabotage Hamilton's or Vettel's car and let McLaren take the lead in the constructor's. A Mercedes 1-2 was there for the taking if Hamilton's car had just made it to the end.

They're just setting the stage for the greatest comeback of all time when Vettel rolls into the final race of the year with almost no chance, but still wins the championship thanks to the double points.
Except the 2nd place Red Bull car was DQ'd after the race.
I know! To me it seems enough to limit the onboard fuel capacity, to limit the fuel flow also is just goofy.
Besides maybe this is F1 sticking their nose in and slapping the team for not giving their star driver ENOUGH fuel flow? F1 is mad because they bet money on Vettle and the team did not give him enough fuel flow to win!
I think in Vettel's case, they went with different computer mapping and it didn't work. Once they do the inspection, I'm sure there are other issues as well. No conspiracy, as you want both cars to do as well as possible. Conspiracy would be a "longer" pit stop or move over orders. You'd never sabotage your own car. Personally, I believe Vettel signed up for the upgrades wanting to get an advantage and it didn't work. In previous years Webber got them and paid the price.
...and the people that watch this stuff think NASCAR is fake..

are you saying NASCAR is not fake, because that would be precious.
Didn't Button's qualy run get ruined by Kimi's accident? But he made up 6 positions where Magnussen moved up one.
So after reading this, I am now certain that I no longer understand Formula 1. I didn't understand one single thing any of you just said. I thought teams just built cars and raced them. And teams that had more money won more races and people complained but life kept moving forward. Are they turning F1 into something as confusing as baseball now?

i never said such a thing- it is "fake" in that there are only a few multi car teams that have a legitimate chance to win week after week and year after year- but the F1 fanboys can't really look down their noses at NASCAR when there are things like this floating around out there pretty much all the time...

There are many more reasons than what you said there. And F1 fans are just as blind to the foibles of their own favorite series.
What's that saying about arguing, that it just brings everyone down to the same low level?

Something about pigs. Probably how delicious they are.

i have no illusions about the dominance of a few teams in NASCAR- Hendrick teams have 11 of the last 20 championships if you count Tony Stewart winning it a couple of years ago, and there are only maybe 5 shops that put out competitive cars week after week..
Hendrick (SHR is included here), Childress, Roush, Gibbs, and Penske affiliated cars get all the wins and glory... but i don't think there is much in the way of favoritism for any given team from NASCAR thanks to the openness of the garage area on a race weekend, some teams just push the limits better than the others and get away with exploring the gray areas of the rulebook better than everyone else. and as far as team orders within a given organization- i think the good old boy network and the egos of the individual drivers more or less keeps that in check, but you know, sometimes cars just spin out for no reason and bring out cautions and stuff..
Money wins races. End of discussion$

You must get raging boners for F1 threads. You can't stop buy always interjecting your negative opinion in them.

If you think F1 is bad, go take a look at what MotoGP has been doing the last few years and what they will do the next few years.
