Trees are starting to change to their fall wardrobe. Today is the last day of "summer".
Highs in the low 70's. Tomorrow the high is going to be 48 and drop. Chance of frost Friday morning.

Pretty sure you have that bass-ackwards so I fixed it for you.
It will be nice to be able to walk outside without instantly being covered in sweat.
I'll admit it - I'm with Gearheadotaku here. I love hot weather and long days of sunlight. It's time to head into hibernation for me ... or find a home in the Southern Hemisphere.
in the last two weeks we went from upper 70's weather, even lower/mid 80's to 50's and 60's weather. Couple that with Ian remnants having it raining an dreary the last several days, its like a fall switch was flipped abruptly
Our weather has been glorious - clear sunny days in the high 70's to low 80's with the most important thing - LOW HUMIDITY!
Cool nights in the 50's, why it's San Diego every day now in Kansas City!
Should last about another week.
In a month I'll be scooping up huge mounds of leaves from the 100ft tall pin oak in the front yard - that will last till sometime in March.

Well, a hurricane WILL blow them straight off the trees!
It was 60F when I left the house this morning. That's a nice change here in central Florida.
I know it won't last. I'm expecting 90s again before the end of the year.
Oh man, fall is just my absolute favorite. Here in the Appalachians there's almost nothing better. I love the cool, dry air, the fall breezes, the apple harvest season, the incredible crimson and gold mountain views, and the light. I can always see the shift in the light from summer light to fall light, and something about the small change in angle just makes everything seem extra special.
