Bob eats Hill's Science Diet. That's what the pound feed him and his vet was very happy that's what I'm feeding him. From the size of his poops I think he doesn't have a problem eating it.
Currently feeding The Yeti and The Bear Taste of the Wild but I'm interested in if anyone uses Farmers.
Our last pup has a sensitive stomach at the end do we made him chicken or hamburger with rice and a few veggies
Costco dog food, supplemented with probiotics, coconut oil, and pureed pumpkin.
3 dogs, 1 of which is an 80lb put/lab mix, we go through a lot of it.
If you look at the ingredients list on the Kirkland dog food, it's on par with the boutique, expensive brands.
Been feeding it to our dogs for 15 year, they seem happy and healthy.
K&G get Chicken Soup for the Soul.
Sometimes with a whole raw egg, sometimes with olive oil.
We use Retriever for the girls, one of the higher caloric content. They're thin dogs and active so calories count for them. Tractor Supply 50lbs for about $40-45. When you're feeding 8 cups of food a day, cost becomes a factor.
We fed it to our dog, a 20lb Boston Terrier/Frenchy mix. She has food/skin allergies and was tooting us out of the room on regular store bought. We did an allergy test and sent results to Farmer's Dog. She loved the food and stopped tooting but kept losing weight no matter how much we fed her. My wife finally found another wet food that matched ingredients and she's been keeping weight now.
