In Ithaca the only option for fried chicken is a grab and go box at any grocery store that is not wegmans. We could easily sell an 8 pc box for $6 next to the $5 rotisserie chickens. But they won't.

Seriously (as opposed to my other post) Taco Bell tried shrimp soft tacos a few years ago that were delicious - not especially cheap, but very tasty. I'd love for them to offer them again, permanently.

I'd like to see salads get bigger and cheaper. Saladworks has the size thing down, but the price is outrageous for a fast food joint.

Rally's/Checker's has the fries you're looking for.
If you're cool with curly fries, Hardee's/Carl's Jr does curly fries like Arby's but without the suck.
Hardees also does the best FF burger this side of In and Out IMO. And you can get one with ALL THE HEART ATTACK.

You guys have Wendy's up there? Their fries are pretty spectacular. Or at least they are at one of the two Wendy's we have here. The other stores they are always cold and soggy.
If you ever find yourself in Chicagoland, try Portillo's fries. I'm always happy with them. Culvers as well (they might have reached Canada)

I would be happy if they get my order right once in a while. I don't like cheeseburgers. They used to sell hamburgers. Now they sell you cheeseburgers without cheese. They slap a little tag on it that says "no cheese" but about 80% of the time it still has cheese but often is missing something else like ketchup or onions and in a few really frustrating cases the burger. More than once I pulled away from the drive thru to find I had gotten a cheese sandwich.
for fries, stop into a Culvers if you ever encounter one... their burgers are really good, too..

But their burgers are "small". You have to pay more for extra patties to really make it a "real" burger compared to Five Guys.
More of an area thing, but I want fast food joints to carry scrapple egg and cheese sandwiches at breakfast. Then I could get more for the price compared to most places.

KFC & Taco Bell in the same building = fried chicken burrito. And it should come with a roll of TP (extra soft please)

I have had this from Popeye's. On the breakfast menu. It was actually pretty good, as I recall.

Wich Wich is pretty great. Their Thank You Turkey sandwich is turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. I have it topped with potato chips, sliced egg, spinach, dried cranberries, and Swiss cheese. It's perfect.

We had one here. It either lost it's right to be a chain or it got slapped with a lawsuit because it wasn't one in the first place. It's a "Steak &" now.
Had a Four Seasons that turned into Four Seas for the same reason.
