Also 07ish Nissan Maxima! Really funky roof, bling wheels, plate and taillights are in the right spot
I'm now even more convinced it's 2003-ish 2 door Hyundai Accent. Maybe 4?
Especially check windshield rake vs everthing else out there. Then front and rear overhang, hood length, C pillar shine, rear plate placement, bumper heights, odd style in the rear that makes the rear wheel arch seem lower
Soooo at what point does someone call the RCMP?

Wait wait, what if this is a 2-door? 96-98 Mustang has that roof slope and the huge rear bumper..
Yep the '03 Accent 2dr is a very strong candidate. Check out the taillight shape and the amount of junk in the trunk:
It also has a garnish piece above the rear plate which is often black, but it's at a different angle to the rest of the rear metal and could produce a shine:

Look at the windshield. No dice
Also it doesn't look like the Mustang's trunk is tall enough.

It is strangely tall. The back end looks newer like a Sentra or early 2000's Dodge but the rake of the windshield is very 80's chevette like. I think the image has some shape warping happening.
The key clue to me is the "wraparound" front turn indicators/headlights. Most of the cars suggested so far don't seem to have that.
If I had to bet, the Accent seems like the best candidate so far with the Chrysler 200 next...
My money on 2000 Sentra or Stanza
You know you've seen one rollin on crap aftermarket wheels with a bad paint job.
I think the windshield and back window angles are from the speed and bad camera plus the angle.
My new candidate is a second Gen Mazda Protege.
Big taillights with low-mounted clear sections, tag on a high trunk with an optional chrome strip above it, pronounced rear bumper, short deck, wraparound front corner lights, weird wheelwells where the rear is "lower", often seen on crappy wheels.
Anyone know somebody at the National Reconnaissance Office or some tech firm specializing in digital enhancement...?
In reply to Javelin :
I think you got it. If we could measure the wheelbase relative to the length we could compare it to the published dimensions of the Protege as a rough check.
The hood angle of the SX4 looks all wrong...the Gen2 Protege looks like another top candidate though.
I'm driving and can't look up a picture or read through the rest of the thread to see if it's already been posted, but I was just behind a rather new Mitsubishi Mirage G4 and it has many similar characteristics of the picture. Can somebody else please post a rear three-quarter shot to see how it compares.
