The Father's Day Rod Run will not be held in Davenport this year. Instead, organizers plan to move this popular car show to Winter Haven. It will be held June 15 and 16 at the Best Western Park View Hotel, 5651 Cypress Gardens Blvd., in front of LegoLand. The show is open to pre-1973 cars and trucks. There are many specialty awards, brown bag auctions, silent auctions, 50/50 raffle, door prizes, games, valve cover races, poker walk and grand prize give away. Music will be provided by WJBJ Cruisin' with the Classics. Various vendors and swap meet spaces will round out the event. Registration will be held from noon to 8 p.m. June 15 and 8 a.m. to noon June 16. Registration is $30 the day of the show. For more information, call Bill and Sherry Coons at 863- 421-2977.
