None were finer (or more twisted) than Ralph Bakshi's short-lived Mighty Mouse revival.
Force Five was a dope robot-based anime that I dug. Different robot for each day of the week.
I think only the Boston area got it, though.

I have that on DVD at home right now. I continually forget how wonderful it is.
It was a bit past my prime, but I LOVED the Animaniacs skit about Woodstock that was like the whole Abbott & Costello "Who's on First" skit"! here
G.I. Joe, ThunderCats, He-Man and She-Ra....
MASK and Transformers were both ones I liked.
However, the two best in my opinion were:
