Not to bash or start an internet fight, but we all have atleast one, a band or artist you love, and either a song or album you just don't care for.

Bob Seager's Old Time Rock and Roll. Maybe because it is a mandatory wedding song, or because I prefer his music about hopping on a big twin cruiser and hitting the open road.

The Beatles Abby Road. Sacralige to say it, but the only song I like off of that album is Here Comes The Sun.

The Beatles Ballad of John and Yoko. It was one of their 27 #1 hits, but it just dosen't do it for me.

Linkin Park 1000 Suns. Maybe I was hoping for another Minutes to Midnight, but the sound is compleatly different on this album, more of a rap feel to it.

How about you guys?

Abbey Road is home to arguably the most perfect side of vinyl ever recorded by humans.

Whereas I love most of Pink Floyd's output, but could happily live without hearing The Wall ever again. It's just...meh.

The Clash's 'Cut the Crap'. A fairly obvious pick, but definitely an album that pales in comparison to their prior work.

Rocket from the crypt: RFTC

You have to own it because the duet of "Eye on you" is amazing but the rest of the album is a major dissapointment from probably the best rock band of all time.

You don't like the Sun King medley?! I... I don't know what to say here. (and it's "Abbey Road" for God sakes...)(and "sacrilege, for that matter)

Beatles--Revolution #9 (too avant garde for me)

Catherine Wheel--"Eat My Dust You Insensitive berkeley"

Smashing Pumpkins--(most stuff post-Siamese Dream, but I'll choose "Tonight, Tonight)

Screaming Trees didn't do much of anything wrong...

Agreed, but Dissent of Man made up for it in my book. They're better than ever.

Sorry...too whupped to actually think of another example...I'll think about it...

My favorite band changes day to day, but right now it's Happy The Man. Songs I hate? Anything by AC/DC.

Operation Mindcrime II

This album didn't need to be made. I saw them perform Mindcrime I and II back-to-back at the Tabernacle with some hits from other albums in the middle. Part II was just bad...bad bad bad. I bought it though, then watched Operation Livecrime to get the sequel out of my ears.

Call me a girl, but I actually like Incubus. However, almost everything on their previous album, Light Grenades, really sucks.

There is so much E36 M3 music out there that listing what I hate is a futile endeavor but if someone would invent a time machine and use it to erase the existence of George Thorogood... that's a start.

WHAT?! Lonesome George and the Delaware Destroyers? He's awesome! Forget everything after (and including) Bad To The Bone. But all of the first 3-4 blues albums are just fantastic. Move It On Over is a classic.

HUUUUUUGE plus one. They peaked with Siamese Dream.

As far as I'm concerned, "Recipe for Hate" was Bad Religion's last record.

If all you've ever heard from Soul Asylum is the crap that got played on the radio (though 'black gold' wasn't bad,) you owe it to yourself to check out:

"Hang Time" is a good record too. Good, straight up rock and roll. They're one of those bands that deserved to be recognized way more than similar bands of the time. Dave Pirner is 10 X the song writer Eddie Vedder will ever be.

Biggest "Best album" followed by "Worst album" EVER:

...though I'm guessing everything that's come out after the 'black album' sucks as bad as or even worse.

Metallica- ANYTHING after the Black Album. There's a few good songs off load and reload, but I cannot STAND St. Anger and whatever the hell the one that was after it was called. Hetfield needs to go back to drinking too much or something, because those boys have gone soft.

I lost interest in them LONG ago (i.e. Black Album), but the metalheads I know (even younger ones who have been students of mine) claim that their last effort (Death Magnetic) was the best thing they've done in ages. I remember thinking "All Nightmare Long" sounded like something off of Justice.

I really can't think of any current band I hate more than the Black Keys. What a steaming pile of "catchy" warmed-over, recycled, mediocre playing at best garbage.

That's interesting. I was just thinking about how they consistently put out albums that are good front to back.

I wish I could play at that level of mediocrity.

Sting, Dream of the blue turtles, is a great album except for the first song on side one. On vinyl, I would cue it at the start of the second song, on disc, I punch > once.

I could throw out Van Halen, right? There's more than the change in lead singers, however. I mean there's a reason VHIII sold about two copies, as my brother can painfully attest. Eddie really needed someone to tell him some things weren't a good idea.

Modest Mouse is one of my favorite bands, but "Noone's first and you're last" did not impress.

We were dead before the ship even sank is one of my favorite albums ever though.
