This one's mine:
I guess once upon a time there was a house there. Nothing left but an old chimney in the middle of the woods. Someone decided to make it fit the season. 😊

I didn't get a chance to grab a picture, but a house near my father-in-law's has a "Here lies Ebenezer Scrooge" headstone with a tiny wooden crutch propped up against it.
This is the first year I have seen folks making Die Hard ornaments, and I really like them

I need to get pictures of my managers house. They put up something like 30k lights.
But I'm lazy, he and his husband live like 110 miles away.

That is a Sherman's Sentinal. Reminder of the Northern Aggresion. That one is cool.
Locally, anyway, there seemed to be a real falloff in public and commercial decorations this year. Like, I seem to recall shopping centers and businesses throwing some festive baubles or colored lights around some light poles in the parking lot, or a lighted wreath on the front of a building or whatnot. it was a nice few weeks of some visual variety. But '24 was pretty quiet, comparitively. There's a lot of construction and renovation of commercial properties around here, so instead of twinkling red and green lights we got a lot of flashing orange lights from Bob and his Barricades, so that's something I guess.

Maybe, but I'm about 100 miles off of Sherman's route. And I'd guess it to be less than 100 years old.
I suspect it's more likely to be a dumbass "Hold my beer" event...
