I can't believe no one has mentioned the muffuletta:
From wiki...
A traditional muffuletta consists of one muffuletta loaf, split horizontally. The loaf is then covered with a marinated olive salad, then layers of capicola, salami, mortadella, emmentaler, and provolone. The sandwich is sometimes heated through to soften the provolone.[2] The size of the muffuletta is enough to feed more than one person, and many stores sell quarter or half-muffulettas.
The olive salad consists primarily of olives, along with celery, cauliflower and carrot. The ingredients are combined, seasonings are added, covered in olive oil and allowed to combine for at least 24 hours. Prepared olive salad for muffulettas can also be bought by the jar.
I love those things. That, and pbj.
I also like mayo and miracle whip equally. That seems to drive people nuts.

Since I am starving... I can ignore this no longer. My favorite go-to sandwich is:
- Bread, buttered and pan fried crispy
- Melted Cooper sharp cheddar
- crispy bacon
- Tomato slices (added cold, after)
- black pepper

Pimento Cheese
Ruth's has jalapeno pimento cheese. It has a real bite, too. Yummy.
A Reuben or Monte Cristo would be my two favourites.
If you want something scary, go to www.thisiswhyyourefat.com and look up the "Fat Daryl" and the "Baboon Heart"
