There goes a legend.

And here I'm giggling because his initials were FAP. I'm such a child.

I will honor his memory today by hooning about in 2nd gear at 7k rpms. Like I do every other day.

Well nobody will ever forget the designer of the 911...

Just hope they don't use a Panamera for his hearse /goingtohell

...and so on and so forth...

Looks like I should have held onto that Targa for another week.

Fittingly I went for a drive last night. Where to? No where.

I shall pour one out with the 944 tonight in remembrance. RIP F.A. Porsche.

I also went for a drive in my Porsche today. It never ceases to amaze me. Chirping tires in second in a 944 makes me giggle.

Thanks Butzi, without the 904, Porsche may not have won 16 overall titles at Le Mans. That car changed the face of the company's racing program.

Only if he did the design work in crayon. Butzi was born on the eve of the War.

But yes, war is hell. I'm going to assume that all of the car makers from the Axis countries have some ties to their military. Do we still hold that against them? That can be a tough ethical question.
