A Ferrari driver has been arrested after he attacked the owner of a Fiat 600 which had not given way to him as he tried to overtake it on an Italian motorway.
The 32-year-old driver of the £166,000 Ferrari 485 with a top speed of 200mph repeatedly rammed the small car when his attempts to pass it were frustrated.
The man, who has not been named, eventually forced the Fiat 600, worth £7,750 and with a top speed of 93mph, on to the hard shoulder, and then he smashed a window and set about beating up the 32-year-old inside.

So is the Fiat driver going to jail?
I certainly hope so, he was awfully inconsiderate!
If only it had been Dan Severn behind the wheel of that Fiat...
He's the one that started that Left Lane Drivers United website, wasn't he?
I heard that Dax Shephard, when he was on a late-night talk show, told a story about a road-rage incident where he couldn't get past a driver because the driver was double-parked and despite lots of honking and shouted obscenities the driver refused to move. Dax gets out of his car, walks to the driver's side and loudly berates the driver who is staring straight ahead, seemingly oblivious to the onslaught. Dax finally gives up and returns to his vehicle. A second or two later the double-parked driver calmly exits his own car and begins strolling back toward Dax. It is at this moment that Dax recognizes the man with the intimidatingly large mustache. Even though it is now flecked with gray that 'stache is no less menacing!
"The Beast" then proceeds to give Dax a light trouncing and at some point during the scuffle a bit of Dan Severn's flesh gets stuck in Dax's ring, which of course Dax thought was the coolest part of the whole thing!
I know of a Ferrari technician that rammed a slower driver on the freeway in his Jeep... ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/crazy-18.png)
That totally reminds me of a guy I saw in Boston. Ferrari 612, driver had to be a minimum of 400 lbs, and his hand was glued to the horn. I laughed.
I don't really see this as a Ferrari driver with anger management issues, I see this as a stupid Fiat driver with a fat head who said "I'm going to show him!" and then proceeded to get burned.
Life is now back to normal.
