The picture of the food store is a little scary, but even here in the mid-atlantic the first couple snow storms get hyped to hell and everyone rushes to the food store.

I want to laugh but I also understand Texas and Oklahoma may not be as prepared for snow as Pennsylvania is, sorry dudes and dudettes.

No we are not, we got nailed again last night/today with another 8-14" depending on where you live in metro area.

I've been getting taken to and picked up from work all week. And will have to continue that until next week. It's supposed to warm up over the weekend so hopefully this will all be gone by Monday.

All the schools in the area have been closed since Monday of last week. So by the end of the week, they will have missed 9 straight school days.

To give you an idea of how little snow we usually get. I think they only build in 3 snow days per year, and when I was in school, we almost always got 1-2 extra days in April off because it hadn't snowed enough to cancel school during the winter.

when I was in grade school we once missed the entire month of March... snow 6 - 8" every Tue for the whole mo.... damn did we go late into June ...
