How does one find out who the broadband providers are in a given area? Are there any good websites for comparing them? I'd hate to just go with at&t again if there's a better deal out there.

http://www.speedtest.net/ will give reviews as well as dslreports.com (misleading name, does all broadband)
Call Clear - the service provider (formerly Clearwire). They will tell you whether their coverage is available in your area. If it isn't, they transfer you to someone who will check all providers available to you. Naturally, they want to make a sale and will try to get you to sign up with one. THey seem to have access to good deals but you are always welcome to beg off and see if you can do better on your own.
