I finished the first model car of the year, the Targa Florio winning Porsche 904. It's a 90's reissue of a 70's kit and had some gnarly fitment issues on the body. Overall it was an enjoyable build, though. I weathered it to match the finish-line photos.
Hope you like it. I think I'm going to finish a half-done P-51B that's been kicking around my closet for 10 years next...

Funny, i just dug all my stuff out an began going through it. first build will be a throwaway camaro to freshen up my skills.

Wow, great build, but you weren't kidding about figment. The casting flash is brutal.

This is the first one in a long time to require epoxy and rubber bands to get the body on straight. Granted, the real 904's didn't exactly fit well, either...
Very cool. I was in the local hobby shop here the other day thinking it would be cool to start doing models as something fun to do with the boy as he gets older before he can actually start helping to wrench on cars.
