I have a Pine wood slab bar top that I want to finish. Its going to be outdoors. I would like it darker, and shiny. What will hold up outdoors and not yellow.

When we built our house a few years ago, we purchased a real wood door(42”x96”). It was freakin’ expensive and I wanted a stain and sealer that would protect the “investment”. Our cabinet maker highly suggested Sikkens products. He told me that they are popular in the wooden boat restoration business, so I figured that was good enough for me. We’ve been in the house 4-1/2 years and I’ve re-coated it twice so far and it looks good.
