I don't like the look of that at all. Burning plastic? The smoke looked absolutely toxic. I'm sure we will find out much more, but that could have been deadly.
There was mention of a KERS system malfuntion ; a battery mounted under a fuel cell caught fire or exploded and it spread to the fuel.
Those guys were breathing some bad E36 M3.
Damn that looks like a bad deal. I can only imagine how bad all those high tech composites burn and what toxic crap they put out when they burn.

What a mess. I thought that being hoisted on the shoulder of two former world champions was about the coolest way to celebrate ones first F1 win. Then he gets to carry his little brother with a bum wheel to safety from a fire all in the same day.
