So I took my $400 Ramcharger to a mud run. Got stuck in the mud a few times, but the RC did better than I expected given its stock and running on old Wal-Mart tires. There were definitely some pros there, though. It was fun, I look forward to doing it again.

Kinda miss my old Ram Charger rebrand (Trailduster Sport)... then I remember the rust issues... and it goes away.

Looked fun!
I was never into "muddin'" per se (despite the pic below). Take that beast on some trails as well and you'll be hooked.
Can you spot me up there?
hotlinked just because I'm like that
BTW, I've always wanted a Ram Charger or Trail Duster to drop a Cummins in. How sweet would that be?
Check out www.treadwright.com for tires if you wanna get away from the walmart specials that are on there. I'm rocking the Guard Dogs on my truck and I haven't had any problems except for a holed sidewall. I think that was more a result of a sharp rock meeting at 30ish mph than crappy tires though.
Cool Dr. Boost. There were some trials there as well, but they were a little too hardcore and jeep specific. The RC was surprisingly capable, but its not a Jeeps equal. Cool pics.
thatsnowinnebago: Thanks for the link!
splitime: Worst car award! I cut all the rust off the RC with tin snips and just left open spots in the bodywork.
I'm pretty jealous. Especially because I was given ample opportunity to go with friends several times and I always ditched them to hang with my then girlfriend (who I only saw on weekends). I knew it was pathetic, but there were certain benefits that only she could give me and they usually outweighed off-roading.
I like the Silver Lake dunes photo. I have been there often, and always meet the strangest people.
I prefer my offroading in pedal driven 2 wheelers

Yeah, that's back when the dune was a dune, not the dirty speed bump it is now.
