New favorite thing to scream out the window as I pass someone on the right "GET OUT OF THE GODDAMNED FAST LANE, berkeley FISH!"
"Dude, what did he just call you?"
"I'm pretty sure he just said 'berkeley fish.' WHAT DOES IT MEAN!?!?!?"
So much profanity! That's not very professional of them...
On a related note, I just picked up this cook book today:
you're welcome! The recipes are awesome, too. For example, in the instructions to cook the "Feed your mouthface with some berkleying Veal Slaw" recipe, it says "Do a large berkleying dice on your veal; get that E36 M3 into 1 1/2-inch cubes..."
or from another recipe: "Cook it until it's brown, but don't burn it, or it will be berleying bitter and awful and you will have failed."
I live in Berkeley County, SC. We have Berkeley High School, Berkeley Middle School, even a Berkeley Elementary School. We have a Berkeley Heating and Air, Berkeley Locksmith, pretty much name it, and we have one with that starts with Berkeley...
I'm pretty much immune to it now.
I keep seeing this thread and can't stop trying to figure out how a Berkeley Pro fishes. Gently humping the water to cheesy music and using his or her delicate bits as bait (Ow)? Chumming the water with certain bodily fluids? I just don't know.
There are probably certain websites with explanatory videos, I'll have to look that up later.
Fish like a berkeleying pro? You mean like on the World Ice Fishing Championship taking place in Wausau, WI? Support your country's team today! http://www.usaiceteam.com/uncategorized/2013-ice-fishing-world-championship-in-wausau-wisconsin/
Oops, it just finished this past weekend.
Speaking of unknown profanity, does anyone remember that scene in Las Vegas vacation? " I'll be your dam tour guide. Feel free to take all the dam pictures you want. Let me know if you have any dam questions" "Yeah, where can I get some damn bait?"
couple weeks ago, we went to the UK for work. the guys there rented a van that had this on the side:
Next time you're at a pro race, talk to Charles Espenlaub about fishing. That's his day job. Seriously.
