POLK COUNTY FLORIDA SHERIFF, GRADY JUDD
An illegal alien, in Polk County, Florida, who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop, ended up "executing" the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. A state-wide manhunt ensued.
The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area. As soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him. They hit the guy 68 times.
Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor, undocumented immigrant 68 times.
Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: "Because that's all the ammunition we had." Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what!
The Coroner also reported that the illegal alien died of natural causes . When asked by a reporter how that could be, since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied: (BEST QUOTE OF THE CENTURY) . . . "When you are shot 68 times you are naturally gonna die.."

The guy has a way of getting in the news. He was Sheriff in a case where a couple were burgling an orange farmers place, farmer heard them and stood in the way of the fleeing vehicle with a gun and proceeded to empty it into the passenger compartment. The crook reversed until he hit something and fled on foot. Turns out the girlfriend was hit by the farmers bullets and died. When they caught the burglar, the sheriff charged him with murder. The farmer was within his rights in FL, and if you commit a crime in which someone dies you are responsible.
The same Sheriff also made the national TV show circuit when the group of teen girls in his county tricked another girl into coming to a house and then beat her unconscious, revived her, beat her unconscious again, revived her, etc... Spectacular cases occur in his county and he says/does outrageous things about them.
We could use more LEOs like that.
Mr. Joshua is right...the guy is a major media whore.
He actually IS my sheriff. Like any human being, he's a mixed bag....he does/says some good things, but some things that really annoy me, too.
BTW, the incident you describe happened a half decade ago.
Who would repeat that incident in your county?
this guy and Sheriff Joe need to get together and figure out how to solve our crime problems..
I just accidentally deleted a longish post. I am not going to try to retype it all. Judd does some good things. He also harrasses people with
trumped up charges
if they interfere with his
questionable plans .
(That's one back and forth case....there are other things that he and his office have been involved in around here that bother me even more, but which I'm not going to discuss in a public forum. You can PM me if you have a burning desire to know)

Not 100%. I don't see where the guy was an illegal. That addition to the story is what makes it a dangerous one. Then again, you shouldn't be surprised when anyone works "liberal media" into anything. It's the new "Hitler".

This didn't happen a half-decade (or five years as the rest of us call it) ago, and I'd bet a nut this guy's illegal. Popped twice before for driving without a license, (which would be a felony if you elected me emperor,) but just like in GA, they get a slap on the wrist and drive home from court. Remember, een Messyco, ees no problem.
But remember folks, they're "Just here to work."

In PA, your license is like a credit card. Why not be required to swipe it to start your car instead of a key? Increased security for you and better safety on the streets.

When this happens in your neighborhood, let me know how awesome illegal immigrants are. The culture "shifts" once they make up the biggest percentage of the population. This happened at the park my best friend used to run, a stone's throw from where his kids were sleeping. Victims were legal immigrants. "Suspects" were not:

Three armed men who broke into a home in Gwinnett County Monday night demanded money from the victims as they beat a 50-year-old man and raped a 40-year-old woman, police said.
Three teenage boys, ages 19, 18, and 14, were also inside the home but were not physically harmed.
The incident occurred at the Norcross Village Mobile Home Park at 4498 Buford Highway in Norcross about 9:30 p.m. Monday.
After the assaults, the gunmen took several items from the home and then took off in a Silverado pick-up truck with an extended cab and chrome tubing along the bottom.
The victims had a neighbor drive them to the hospital, after which time police were called.
The male suspects were all wearing khaki pants with pullover shirts, unknown colors. Two of them were armed with handguns and one with a rifle, police said.

What liberal media? All media is corporate owned and has its own agenda. It's been that way for years, nothing has changed.
