That is... significantly worse.
What would folding the mirror in do for preventing getting hit?

When I fell asleep at the wheel I had the decency to do it in the middle of nowhere. And after 2-1/2 rolls, it's a damn good thing I was wearing my seatbelt.
Sorry about your minor disaster, there, Sper. I hope everybody's insurance takes care of you.
Wonder if hitting the windshield knocked some sense into her?
That poor truck looks like a Twizzler.
Could have been a lot worse. The street I grew up on was all on street parking. Average residential neighborhood in Ohio. Speed limit was 25 but of course the average speed was 40+. We lived three houses up from an intersection with a stop sign in the east-west direction but without one in the north-south. I've seen many accidents but the worst involved someone blowing the stop sign clipping a passing car which sent it head on into a parked car which flipped it into the air landing upside down on the second and third parked cars. The car that ran the stop sign hit three cars on the other street before taking out the back corner of a church that was on the opposite corner. By the time the cops got there both drivers were long gone, one left a shoe behind. All told 8 cars totaled with two more receiving damage including my moms which was parked five cars back from the corner.

My brother two upped this girl years ago, he "fell asleep" went in between two car pushing both into other cars then mowed down the chain link fence smashed the block stair case into a million pieces and pinned the front door close. Then fled the scene. The final tally was three car's were total loss the forth was about $5K in damages and about $15K in other damages, this was in the early 90'S BTW. State farm till this day will not even talk to him about insurance.
was he arrested for leaving the scene ?

her ins. co. should be the ones paying for a rental for you
edit: JohnRW1621 beat me to it … she's inconvenienced you … she should have to make it right
civic with a spoiler so she must have lost control when the VTEC kicked in yO!
Sorry for your loss. Glad to hear nobody was seriously hurt.
Nope, the owner of the house stuck his head out the window and asked my brother (jackass) how he was going to pay for this mess, my brother made the best statement ever heard at 3:30 A.M "that's why I have insurance" and bounced.
I took my brother to the police station the next day, he was ticked for failure to present insurance information. The police spent three hours (think five big ass law book and three cops) trying to find something else to stick him with but that was all they could find at the time.
In case you are wondering his luck did run out a few year's later.

I didn't really think of it that way. Guess I should get on that tomorrow.
this is why people should only live where you can keep all of your cars safely out of the way of traffic..

The plot I plan to build on is 1/2 mile down a gravel drive. How's that for out of the way?

Ouch! Is there a jump in the road or something just out of frame that makes you the prime target for cars that get a little airborne?
One thing is certain - you need to call the landscape place or quarry and get a massive boulder in your front yard.
The road is perfectly straight around me. The truck actually rolled from the drive across the street. It's an entertaining place to live. "COPS" streams live through the front window. "Honey! Get the popcorn! It's another DUI!"

Nothing to it according to my brother. Popped a cassette in his Camaro and it spit back out on the floor. He leaned over to pick it up, next thing he knows he's pancaked off a fence, sailing through the air and T-Boned something in a guy's driveway.
