I want to send some food, snacks like cookies or cupcakes to a friend in Washington state. I'm looking for something nicer than an edible arrangement is there a good app for this? Anyone recommend a bakery that delivers near Everett?

I know a few bakeries that will deliver nationwide, but they aren't cheap. Like cookies are $60/dozen after shipping is added in.
Unless you want to send them something local to you, I'd search around online in their area and find a place that looks good.
Oooh midnight cookie c company. Looks good, delivery and pickup and delivery apps AFTER 7pm. I kinda wanna see that idea take hold out here
Second edit. I found the place I mentioned above. Taylor chip. They're expensive, but they ship nationwide, and I will 100% stand behind them being worth the price.
https://www.wickedgoodcupcakes.com
I only know of them through Shark Tank, no idea if they're good.

Lol'zers. They are probably killing it. Their mom must be so proud.
Imagine that business bank loan meeting.
I would go on Yelp, find the best bakery in the area, and give them a call and see what they can do. If they're a bakery, they're probably used to delivering for weddings and would be pretty happy to take your money for a much easier job.

This. Find a good bakery on yelp/google reviews/whatever, order door dash from them.
Zingermans here in Ann Arbor ships a lot of food out.
My SIL ordered dinner for us from them- two amazing sandwiches. But this isn't to suggest them specifically, but to see if there is any deli or something of the like local to your friend. Lots of places still are delivering meals locally.
www.goldbelly.com has a ton of options, but they aren't exactly cheap. We've ordered blackout cookies and blackout brownies from a place in Brooklyn, Brooklyn Blackout Company. Outstanding stuff, but $60 shipped for a tin of Brownies is pricey.
Another option is Etsy. It's not same-day delivery but shipping prices can be quite reasonable and lots of vendors and options to choose from.

Depends on how many mg are in them.
Haha! Unfortunately they aren't "those" type of sweets. Now that I've gotten a bit older, the green stuff doesn't really agree with me anymore.
Space cake in Jamaica was when it all started going south for me.

Since it has become legal in Illinois, I've discovered that edibles are kind of a gigantic disappointment for anything beyond a sleep aid or sitting on a beach all day with zero responsibility. Too hard to regulate. I really enjoy doing it the usual way, but don't partake all that often because smoking anything has to be catastrophic for your lung health (not to mention the unknown neurological impact). Bummer really, as an introvert, there are few things that are better for refilling your tank than partaking, sitting by a fire outside, and just listening to the sounds outside, or listening to a good album inside, but that is life.
And now I'm on a job hunt, it is completely off the table.
Frost donuts in mill creek (wa) is close to everett- they probably do delivery through them or 3rd party. I would recommend them 100%.

There's nothing wrong with potential highly concentrated sleep. Without derailing this thread, I'd suggest asking local spots if they have anything sativa based and start at around 10mg. You won't be able to operate heavy machinery, but you'll still be able to be very productive.

New York passed a law making it illegal to TEST for it during a employment pre scan. Seems crazy to me but hey; it's New York.

There are few things better than sitting by a fire with friends regardless of your preferred method of detaching from reality for a bit.

For many jobs, there is no point, but I'd be curious about how that is implemented. Surely anything requiring a CDL is still able to test, right? What about if your job requires you to rent vehicles out of state? Interstate commerce has to be in the conversation there, right?
