You can thank me when no snow falls. See, a few years ago I repaired my snow thrower. I posted here when I did that stating that you could thank me when no snow fell. Well, that repair only lasted 2 seasons. For those seasons we got next to no snow. You're welcome.
Now I am replacing the engine, the belts, fluids, and even powder coating the chute. I'll also lube the chassis points and replace the tires. I predict it'll be 75* in Michigan all winter. You are welcome.

I shoveled yesterday morning. Although I did install a snow plow on my riding mower. -Ross in Wisconsin.
Bought a new 4 stroke two-stage snow blower, didn't have to put gas in it for two years.
Doing cost breakdown, would I bribe the winter gods $1.05/ day over two years for a snow and ice free winter?
Absoberkeleyinglutely
Keep up the good work Dr.Boost
When I bought the Vitara for $900 this spring I thought the exact thing - if spending this much $$ keeps us from having a E36 M3ty winter then that's money well spent. If not, at least I can have fun playing in the snow.
WEll... it snowed 4" last night at my place. Your plan didn't work
I need to hurry up and get the e34 aligned so that I swap the snows on, until then old man winter is a crouching tiger in the Philly 'burbs.
For those of you who know just how wrong Dr.Boost is about this...

Well it didn't work here last winter. Chicago got a E36 M3load of snow then. I had problems late in the winter (Late Feb. of this year.) finding a place to put it. I had snow banks 3-5 feet high lining my 35 ft driveway.
and I don't have a HD snow thrower since it's only 35 ft!
Too late. We already got snow. And it was 15 this morning. You suck.
Yup shoveled about 2" of snow of my sidewalk yesterday morning. Also saw 3 accidents in a 1 block stretch in front of my house on Saturday night. I really do wonder why in live in Wisconsin sometimes.
In reply to DrBoost:
If you get too hot and want to go skiing come on down to N.E. TN. I still don't have all the limbs gather up from the last snow. I'm talking BIG limbs.
Well I am committed to daily driving my 2013 Mustang GT Convertible this winter in Cleveland, Ohio. That is the reason for the two polar vortexes so far this November.
I can't help you with how to avoid snow, but maybe I can make you feel better about your chosen residence by telling you I got bit by a mosquito 2 weeks ago down here
You prove to me it work keeps winter away, I'll chip in for my portion of one of these:
For the record, we got an early Christmas present from my parents this year, and now have a nice little single stage Toro in the garage. The Kazoospec family has done our part.
We do have a bit of a history. I'm pretty sure I single-handedly broke the 2012 drought by washing and waxing all three of our vehicles.
I'm trying to make sure I mess up the ski season for everybody at work by shopping for a used snow blower, too .
Having a truck gives me bad ideas.

Exactly! Last year it was broken down and I didn't bother to fix it. After having to throw snow over my shoulder to make it over the 6' snow wall lining my driveway I decided to fix it this year so there'll be no snow.
If it doesn't work, we'll blame it on Woody.
It's pouring rain right now and going down to 14F tonight. Can you go fix your salt spreader too please so this is the last ice storm I have to deal with?
Thanks...Thanks a lot. I have over a foot of snow over here in Grand Rapids.
I'm borrowing a truck and dumping a ton in your driveway.

I think thats because I'm not done yet. I better hurry before that front reaches me....
It's coming down pretty good. Est 8-12" more by tomorrow evening.
It absofreakinlutely POURED rain pretty much all day today, the low tonight will be 30 so there will be some small ice patches tomorrow morning. Tomorrow night, 19 degrees. Brrrr.
You needed to do this a week earlier
I curse you to a life of uteness
Sorry, it's cold as fark, there's snow and ice everywhere, and I'm stylin' with my heated seats and weatherstripping and after I put the new tires on, I can't even get the ABS to activate anymore and the traction control only engages if I have it matted while cornering. Gets a bit light in the nose in 3rd gear and max boost...

Yeah, I meant to do this when it was warmer. I didnt expect snow this early. Even so, I dont think this transgression warrants something as drastic as a life of utes. It's not like I killed someone.
