definitly. though that van sure looked cool. right up until it capsized...
as if a car was not already a money pit.. put a mast and a rudder and it becomes a hole in the water in which you pour money

it worked for a while on the lake before sinking. Of course I like Jeremy's Toyboata the best.

it didn't make it out of the harbor to france! and honestly, who wants a home-brew amphibious car that can't make it successfully (and hilariously) to another country via the sea?
