It's an electrical connector problem, like on a LBC.

They need to recall the Ford Edges too. The pumps whine like crazy when its cold. And changing it doesn't really help. This had been going on at Ford for decades. Can't they find somebody that can design a pump worth a E36 M3 (and the bean counters will leave alone)?

I just got one from Ford of Canada. It is for our Explorer.

The inner door handles can become inoperative. They don't have a fix yet, but they are letting us know that they will recall our vehicle once they figure one out!

I'm not sure if I should be happy or ticked off.

My 05 WRX is likely going to get the Takata recall.

The only vehicles in the household not under a recall are the VW's!!

I have a 12-year-old Golf and my wife has a 25-year-old Cabriolet. If anything breaks I fix it myself!

The Golf has the 2.0L - very reliable.
