So I checked out the tools on Forza and I can't see how guys get those cartoon graphics on the car. I'll have to visit the forza forums and get schooled.

I have found the power mods do, especially when you are putting forced induction on a car. Neat, huh?
In reply to Racer1ab:
That's great! I was hoping that you could ruin the balance of a car by putting more weight on the front end, actually. It makes N/A mods more valuable. I'd hope that things like spoilers, carbon fiber hoods, etc. change them as well.
I thought I would bring this thread back from the dead so I could brag a little....

Argh I hate you guys! I am so wanting to get this game but I think my girl friend bought it for me for Christmas so I'm having to wait.
I am so wanting to get that Z28 in the game, reminds me of my first car (a '78). Is it a purchase or do you have to hold out for winning it?

I saw it for sale in the Chebby dealership. I can't recall what it costs, but a lot of the time the older cars are expensive-my beloved BMW E9 is about 110,000, so I'm just waiting to see if I win it somewhere first.
we've got a spec miata series if anyone would like to join, i could happily send them the tune, there's a lot of close racing!

The prices of cars in the game are set to reflect real world pricing, so the '79 Z-28 is pretty cheap. Something like less than 10k credits, which is a couple of begginer race winnings.

Count me in!
GimpTZT
It might be simpler to cut and paste the specs here in this thread. I've got about 6 different "Spec" Miata's for various forum boards.
Woah, the driver's head turns to see where he's going! That's pretty neat!
Dirtybird: Send me the tune, broseph!
Because it's fast, beautiful, and you can bring two friends along.
Bumblebee!
And because, why the berkeley not?

Believe it or not, those graphics are made using nothing but the shapes in the game. Blew my mind when I first found that out. There's a whole bunch of folks who spend as much time (or more!) painting as they do driving.
I haven't done much but try to make my cars look like club racers. I did make a pretty passable Auto World ( http://www.oscarsautoworld.com/ ) sticker for my 70s cars on FM2, but it took me about 90 minutes just to do that. And of course, I'll have to do it again in 3..
Seriously though, there are some very talented artists playing with this game.
