Color was better on the TV.

Wow! IIRC, in FM2, they wouldn't let me paint the 956/962. I don't have the car in 3 yet.
Anybody done Holbert's Lowenbrau car yet? Man, I can think of about ten liveries I'd like to see that car painted up with..Rosberg's Canon sponsored car (3rd place 1983 Nurburgring 1000km), or Rob Dyson's #16 IMSA GTP car, or Joest's "New Man" sponsored cars.
Somewhere in my VHS collection, I've got the race at Sears Point where Bob Wollek broke his shoulder in one of Busby's 962s.
EDIT: I forgot to tell you how nice a job you did on that car.
There's a few of the Shell cars, the Rothmans cars, and the Tic Tac car on the storefronts. Probably for my next attempt, I'll do the A J Foyt Copenhagen car, or the Chris Kniefel car. Preston Henn's Swap Shop car would be cool too. I've got programs from a lot of late '80's IMSA races, as I worked for a Firehawk team, and quite a few of the races were in Florida anyways. If I can find a way to make the logo and the correct font, I wouldn't mind doing the Holbert car. I don't have the artistic flair that some of these guys have for the fonts.
BTW, that Busby paint job is on my store front as well as a Protofab Polyvoltac livery on a C6R.

Excellent! Maybe us history fans can start posting up some stuff..in FM2, I'd tried to build a period correct Toyota 2000GT as one of Shelby American's SCCA CP cars. I had it in Scooter Patrick's paint job, and one night four guys gifted me 2000GTs asking me to apply the design and gift em back.
Right now, I'm working on a BMW E9, trying to make Dieter Quester's old Alpina ETCC car (1971 2800CS). I've always liked the old orange & black Alpina livery. Next I'll probably recreate Scooter's old 2000GT, and after that I'll put some wings on the E9 (Forza has the factory "Batmobile" wings in the upgrade menu) and do Niki Lauda's 71 Jagermeister sponsored car.
In Forza 4, I want box flares added to the aero upgrades...
Pretty close to the car I drove at my first Drivers' School. I need to replace the current SCCA stix with period correct 80s-90s ones (I'll probably make one when I can get back to the game).
The Fried Green Corrado. I built one for FM2 that won me a lot of online races. This FM3 replica hasn't been as successful, but I haven't really spent a lot of time tuning it.
BTW: Umezono is a real restaurant, and one of the best places for Japanese "homestyle" cooking in ATL metro!

If Forza is a dream world, then my fave restaurant is my sponsor.
This is gonna be Dieter Quester's 1971 BMW Alpina 2800CS when I'm done with it. I'm also going to offer the different sponsor decals on my storefront so that someone can paint up any of the 71 Alpina cars.
I was going to post up the E9 I built in hopes of joining DirtyBird222's "old school" A600 series, but I didn't have time to take the pic before the roomie wanted to go play Halo (hey, it's his box..) It's got all the "Batmobile" wings, but no box flares (Turn 10, are you listening? BOX FLARES as aero aids in FM4!). It's Agave Green, just like my old E3, and I've stickered it up like an old 70s SCCA A Sedan club racer.
Here's the E9 I was talking about..no GRM stickers because the magazine didn't exist back then. The old sticker from Oscar's old "Auto World" is the only thing I charge for on my storefront..it was hard to make that one.
I need to post my Group 44 styled E-type and my BRE tribute 240Z but how do I get them off the Xbox.
You'll need to log in to post.
