Keep us posted on how it goes at the title agency. I too am in Ohio, and the WA/OR Craigslists are full of running, rust-free 73-79 Chevy trucks for cheap, and I want one, but am afraid I'd fly out there, deal with all the ordinary hassles of buying from a private owner and the risk of driving 2000+ miles in a truck that's not officially titled and registered to me, only to find that some Ohio bureaucrat won't let me title it.

It's all timing. I didn't leave there till noon so I didn't get home till 4am. Leave as early as possible. That late it was just me in my little miata and semi trucks.

No issues with transferring the title. Didn't even ask for the Bill of sale.
