Most of you know that I don't really watch that much TV. Occasionally I get a show in before bedtime, and always Netflix.
You've probably also read my revelation that Cars was a near copy of Doc Hollywood.
I just came up with another one, though this is more "I bet this character owes a lot to this other one" rather than a direct copy.

nope... not really. there was probably some influence, but they are totally different characters.
Cox was written as a grizzled father figure that had seen everything, Hawkey was the class clown that just wanted to go home.
I think it got cancelled already, but there was a show on Fox called Mulaney that was pretty much an exact copy of Seinfeld. Except for the part where it was supposed to be funny.
Mulaney is a hilarious stand-up. I listen to his bits on Pandora all the time. Could only watch about 5-10 minutes of his show before I flipped.
Dr. Perry Cox is one of my teevee role-models.
He and Ari Gold.

Muscled badasses with big guns...clearly all based on me. (Except I can shoot to the right as well)
Ren was Peter Lorre:

Another MASH one.
Watch "the follies of the living-Concerns of the Dead" (series 10, episode 11)
Then watch "The Passerby" - from The Twilight Zone (Series 3, episode 4)
When I watched Spaceballs, It sure looked like it was based on Star Wars.
