I am in an area where face masks are mandatory. This is not to debate face masks, we are wearing them, period.
This is a place to vet out fun ideas that you can do while anonymous in face masks. I am thinking of trying out some fashion risks and brining some old school back. Thinking about bringing back the 80 mesh football practice midriff shirt with some dolphin shorts to start. Following it up with some shiny euro late 90s gear. Maybe bring back the axl rose flannel shirt and white bicycle shorts.
Everyone is getting to serious, I am thinking bringing some LOL or WTFs around will hopefully brighten a day somewhere. Looking for ideas, they need to be far out enough to be 'ironic'.
What other fun ideas can we do now we are wearing masks and no one knows who you are?
In the early days of covid and face masks I had this interesting experience.
I needed a Federal background check (finger printing) done for work related purposes. In my small town, that requires a visit to the county sheriff's office. Entering this office is the same entrance that visitors would use to come to the county jail. This a guarded entrance.
I will say, I felt rather uncomfortable approaching the sheriff's office and jail while wearing a face mask. It seemed like a place that would not like you to approach with a hidden identity.
Here, I think banks have reopened their lobbies. Can you really approach a bank wearing a blue bandana (ala bandito style) covering your face?

I already look extremely suspect. I've always got on dark sunglasses. I've got a very large smartwatch. I've always got on a ball cap, pulled low. (Sun makes my eyes sad) I have long hair and a long beard. I have a shoulder purse with a portable defibrillator in it with a wire that runs up into my shirt- so a black box with some wires strapped to my chest. Adding a mask has not improved my chances of not being "randomly selected".
I've lipped the words, "BERK YOU," to every rat bastard I've encountered while wearing mine. It's awesome how much stress it relieves.
A couple of Colt revolvers on a gun belt adds a nice retro touch to bank robbery for anyone longing to relive the good old days when lawlessness ruled this land. Oh, wait....

Just wait to see the look on their faces when masks aren't required anymore and you forget you aren't wearing one! ahaha
I do an obscene thing with my tongue - then I laugh.
Yes, I am a 57 year old seventh grader.
I had fun with a new guy at Ace Hardware yesterday. His coworker is slightly hard of hearing and was busy doing something a few feet away from us. I told the new guy that after I started dating his coworker's sister he wouldn't talk to me anymore. That he felt I had dishonored his entire family. Of course the hard of hearing very focused on his task coworker looked the part of very much ignoring me.

Yes, I've done it. Blue bandanna pulled up over my nose and a baseball cap. Walked into the lobby and made a deposit. I had to do it just once for the experience. When else am I going to walk into a bank with my face covered and not get in trouble? Might never get the opportunity again
I wanna get a new driver's license with a picture of me wearing a bandana face covering.

There'sa kid in the deli has that exact one. It's mad lolzers.
I realized that the "random eye contact with a pretty girl and mutual smile" has become "creepy stare".
It made me sad.
I've started filling mine with M&Ms

This all day.
random blotches of BBQ sauce , like you forgot you had it on !
Think of all that facial-recognition technology gone to waste?
Anyway, I feel more confidence while communicating with other people after I've started wearing the mask. Typically, I'm a bit shy person especially when behave amid the crowd. Recently, noticed that my shyness is less than before and I thought what was the reason. Then, I realized that Mask is the reason. I know, I cannot use this forever. But, it made me comfortable
In our 'covering-mandated' state I wear either an orange or red bandana, depending on which one clashes worst with my clothes. More than once I've held out my fingers and done the "stick 'em up" routine on folks.
I have one of them old-school train engineer's caps in the closet. I don't know why I haven't started wearing that with the red face bandana. Today I shall.

I make funny faces at the people who come in and start off there sentence with "I doubt you ever worked on anything but" it's also the number one reason I prefer commercial delivery over parts counter

This is even more fun in concealed weapon states...

Time for some shades
just remember, the face coverings make you look 10 years younger.
