what the hell..
I go for gas and there are lines out the ying yang everywhere. So I go to the gym and the news is playing stories about people who are talking about gas going to $5 tomorrow. It's everywhere in Charleston SC. The radio is saying it... everyone is saying it..
HEY morons.. What you think will become reality... and the reality is that your explorer/tahoe was a stupid purchase..
Sorry I'm just a little frustrated that I had to sit in line for 25 minutes to get 7 gallons of gas..

I saw 2 posts about it on the internet today and knew that we'd shortly have a post-Katrina like gas run. Dammit. I'd put up my old ebay ad again if I wasn't pissed about having to pay for gas to Topeka, tomorrow, right during this BS.
what, pray tell, is on your old ebay ad? this sounds as though it could be amusing
I got gas this evening and the station had signs up explaining that there is a 10 gallon limit.

you've obviously never been to philadelphia before
Just realized this thread was here. Gas has already hit $5.15/gal in metro ATL.
Why? Does most of our gas supply come through Galveston, or is this just stupid paranoia again?
Glad i filled up my cars for $3.57 yesterday....
Should keep me for 3-4 weeks if i try not to drive except to work and back.
Time to finish converting to E85 i guess. I'm getting sick of all this talk.

I heard a story today that said roughly 1/4 of the refining capacity of the US is in the area around Houston or whatnaught.
That's my interpretation of what I heard...but yeah, a good portion of our "Gas" (-oline) makes it's was to us from Ike-ville.
edit: Oh...but yeah, mostly just stupid paranoia..."Oh no! we won't be able to pay arificially-low gas prices for the next tankful!"
