I couldn't find a thread dedicated to homemade garage art. May this act as such.
My spot lamp wasn't disassembling right, so I brought out the demolition equipment. Now I have an itch to use what I destroyed.
Desk light or wall light? Either way, I would build a corresponding wall or desk plaque to mount it. 
A good size brake rotor and 5 or 6 foot of copper pipe and that'd make a nice standing lamp for the garage or anywhere really
More function than art, but I've got a cast tractor seat bolted to a bar stool. Works well.
