I was out flying tonight with night vision googles and the meteors were pretty much constant. Once I started paying attention they were often simultaneous and no more than a few seconds without seeing one. Back at the office, I looked it up online to see if it's anything special. It's the Geminid Meteor Shower. If you are near an area with minimal light pollution it should still be a pretty good show again for the next couple nights. Photographers, try for that long exposure shot.

I saw a really impressive shooting star on my way to work this morning, I guess this is why. Neat!
I saw two yesterday AM, and the wife texted me this AM that she saw one as well. The one I saw yesterday was the brightest I recall seeing!
