Gems from the local CL free section

Not sure how many of you look through your local CL free section to see what’s there.  It can make for some entertaining reading!

My local CL produced some real doozies this week.

Barrel of hair. Body hair and head hair, not separated.

Telephone poles, 16-18 feet, with cross arms

A few rolls of dog poop bags

Dental light - provides bright focused light to small area

Anything good in your neck of the woods?

I wonder if I had an old truck he would allow me to back into each post to break them and then load the wood into the back?

Extra gas flex line?  I am sure our gas company suggest you only use a new one.  ?

If you check for leaks with soapy water, you'll probably be ok. Probably. 

We reuse those over and over again in the lab at work without issue. But we do check for leaks (with a flame,  but we are professionals).

Classic Outside ice freezers, can also be used for storage. These are walk-in units previously used for ice and two(2) of the units still have compressors. There are three(3) units and each are 16 feet long by 9 feet wide by 8 feet high. These units are FREE but must be removed and transported from the current location by new owner. They are separate units and are available individually or all three. Call John at 203-525-3236 with any questions.

When my wife and I were dating I got a call for a car that had struck one of them.  She came with me and when we got there a Corsica was firmly planted into the side of the freezer where a large ice cube with a smiley face, arms, and legs.  While I was talking to PD the driver, in cuffs seated on the curb, kept explaining to my wife how that “berkeleying cube had it coming tainting him every time he comes by.” She still laughs every time we pass one.

Sounds like you two have never been hungry. In the last couple of years I've eaten worse.

I checked mine, but it’s mostly free pallets & kittens, with the occasional scrap metal(wanted or available).

The pile of E36 M3 is actually desirable to some people 

Maybe this should go in rants:

I took down a metal pole swingset my kids had outgrown, posted on the Free list and somebody came and took two and only two of the legs for it. They left the swings and other three bars behind.
