This Morning:

I didn't have the volume on 'because work', what temp are you guys? I had -22°F on the F150 on my way to Green Bay last night and this morning.
At home it was -13F this morning with windchill to -25. Then after I left for work I got a 'tire needs air now' warning, car felt squirlly, pulled over ant he front right is almost flat WTF. I had a slow puncture on the RR over the weekend which I got fixed so I know all my tires were properly inflated on Saturday. Now one goes suddenly flat. Neither gas station I'm close to has air so I turn around, drive 3 miles home and fire up the compressor. This meant I spent way too much time outside, it's borking cold out there. stay warm.
It was +12 deg when I left the house this AM which is cold but not the coldest it's been here, the record is -1. The cat was pissed because he had to do his business on the back porch and the Trooper cranked over kinda slow, otherwise business as usual.
There are several news crews hovering around talking to people. I really wish I didn't have this uniform so I could talk to them

Unpossible. Even Ron Jeremy would need a microscope.

you fell better?
-7° last night. My mustache froze...felt pretty weird. Clutch was VERY slow to come out when I started the car this morning, and shifting gears felt like I was stirring a pot of cookie dough.
It sucks when you have to pee outside on days like these. Wearing three layers of clothes and only have a two layer long wiener.
Shoveled E36 M3, er, snow last night. Snot poured uncontrollably out of my nose. And froze to my lip. Ew.
Its noon and it -5F. Oi!

smelly steam... and yellow ice chunks hitting the ground..
i remember one winter when i was building trusses... we had to push the carts of finished trusses outside after we were done... i had one guy on my crew that was from Mexico and he pretended to not speak English... we pushed the cart outside on one night when it was about -20 with a 20mph wind, and i asked him what he thought of winter... in perfect, unbroken English he said "it's BERKELYING cold"... i told him to hold on, and i went into the break room to get a coffee cup full of hot water.. i watched him as i threw the water in the air and landed on the ground in a shower of ice crystals... by the look at his face, you'd think he just saw a demon or something, and he muttered - again in perfect English- "berkeleying witchcraft". then he walked inside and reverted back to pretending not to speak English..
Anyone else from Michigan remember December 1984. IIRC the highest temperature all month was -10F. I miss the winter sometimes, but not the severe cold.
We were @ -17dgF. The local stores have had panic runs on food starting on Saturday - here is the large chain (Jewel Food - part of Albertson's) local grocery store after work today.

I guess no body likes celery.
Used to do that to the newbies with a cup of coffee when I was stationed in Fairbanks Alaska years ago. Would never hit them but they always ducked.
