Gifts for my groomsmen?

So I'm gettin hitched in October and I'm looking for good ideas for gifts to give to my groomsmen for being in the wedding. What are some good ideas that won't break the bank? I have 5 grooms men total and would like to keep the total cost under $150. The guys will be in jeans as chuck Taylor's that I am supplying and they will get to keep, so the gift doesn't need to be anything extravagant.

That last wedding I was in we were given flasks. That was cool, but that guy is one of the groomsmen and I don't want to do the same gift he did.

Zippo lighters with the date and their names engraved on them?

I gave my guys Swiss Army knives. Not the ones with the 1000 options. One of the original styles.

I gave my guys Buck knives and they genuinely seemed pleased to get them. I was determined not to give some junk like cufflinks or something. LOL. Might be a little over budget, but it's in the ballpark.

Edit: I can't believe someone beat me by posting knives. Proves it's a great idea!

My groomsmen were all sports nuts, so they all got custom footballs. They were only like $15-$20 each IIRC.

I guess the question I have to ask is how old is everybody?

I was 24 when I got married and my groomsman were my age or younger, so I got everyone flasks with their initials engraved in them.

The two weddings I was in, I got knives from both of them. One was a standard Swiss Army knife, the other was a Gerber knife.

I gave Smith & Wesson handcuffs. YMMV.

Zippos no longer work in my mind--nobody smokes anymore, and thoset that do will use a bic.

Fifth of good bourbon/scotch/whiskey/rum/tequila/gin/vodka
Personalized golf balls
Personalized coffee mugs/shot glasses/beer glasses/beer steins
Car detailing kit
Small tackle box (with a couple of lures/jigs/hooks/weights)

Me too. Bigger than the really small, but classic, Executive. I think they were Tinkers? All the ushers got red handles, and the best man got black.

Hasn't been in touch with Indiana/Kentucky lately......and berkeley using a bic.

Plus a lighter is a useful tool to have, just like a knife.

I gave my guys Mag Lights with their name and the date engraved on them. Went over great.

Harbor Freight gift cards?

We did brushed aluminum koozies with their names and their role in the wedding on them. Everyone still has them and break them out when we come over to their respective houses. LOL

back in the 1980's somebody gave me an empty money clip with my initials engraved. I haven't used it yet.

For cheap car guys, this works very well. (Right now in life, that would be AWESOME!!!)

I was one of the grooms' men at a wedding for someone who was into SCA/HACA stuff. Each of us got a sword or armor that was chosen based on our interests.

I gave them the opportunity to rent a tux and stiff shoes.

And I also gave them Swiss Army knives. The simple, original style.

I got an aluminum Lotus Elise Oil Fill cap with my name and date engraved on it. Unfortunately he left it up to me to get the rest of the car.

I've seen nice pen sets that were engraved. I'd do a pen/stylus combo.

my brother gave us folder knives with or name and role engraved on them. I didnt have groomsmen.

I bought a bottle of Eagle Rare 10-year bourbon two days ago for $26. I would be extremely pleased to receive one from someone else. 5 x $26 = 130. Amazon has a 6 pack of whiskey glasses for $20; keep one for yourself. Meets budget. Done.

Seems like everyone mentioned all of my ideas. Maybe some kind of personalized grilling tool? Custom fishing rod? Mag light?
