Hey, this thing is very good!
Sorry, can't listen to it yet, at least not until after Thanksgiving dinner. My personal protest against all those who try to push Christmas season to start Nov. 1. My holiday lights are hung on the house but I won't turn them on until Friday either, unlike many of my neighbors who have had them on for a week or more (it was unseasonably warm last weekend so many of us put our decorations out then).
Generally the Glee stuff is very well done. I still contend Glee is just musical porn - the story and dialogue is only there to get you from performance to performance
I normally wouldn't listen to Christmas stuff this early either but my daughter brought it with her and put it on before I knew what was happening. It was much better than the usual Christmas music.
We'll hang the Christmas decorations Friday and put the CD back on.
I got my tree up but no lights on it yet. I need to get my lights up outside. I should have done that last week considering its freezing rain right now.
Just can't get into Glee.
I did watch a few episodes because others recommended it, but after a while their brand of music made my skin crawl more than anything
Well I like that they go through several different genres of music. The themed shows however get to be a little overkill. I didn't want to watch it at first, but my wife didn't want to watch anything else, so I got sucked into it.
Plus, the show is based in Lima, OH, where I went to college for 4 years. So its fun to see what "Lima" stuff they throw in there.
aka mcfly just listen to their Christmas album (like you'll have a choice this season) and you'll get into them. I am amazed at the quality.

I don't see you denying that you watch it
I got sucked in by the Madonna episode and I've been watching it ever since. I mean, c'mon - cheerleaders on stilts! I was one of the "music kids" all through high school so it really works for me. And it's just plain fun.
I can't do it. I, with the passion of a thousand burning suns, hate musicals. Even when taco starts singing on the League is a bit much for me.

I feel the same. BUT I did see Sweeney Todd... that was decent enough to like. He's a barber who slits peoples throats for revenge.
I know you guys can't deny the hotness that was in the Rocky Horror episode. The scene with Emma and Shu was pure hot steamy sex.

To me, combining Christmas music with Glee is literally combining the worst form of music with the worst possible delivery method.
My ears, my rules.

this
I simply can't cope w/ musicals. Way too over-the-top corny/flamboyant (and I'm not remotely homophobic). My wife watches it, so my only exposure is when I walk by the TV and shake my head in disgust.
If there's ever a Beatles episode, it will be one of the great musical travesties. (assuming there already hasn't been one).
Wholeheartedly agreed with the above. I can't handle musicals, either. The sole (or, soul) exception being 'The Blues Brothers'.

Well, that was just pure genius. Original artists doing what they did best.

Having not seen it I can't be 100%, but I think the movie "Across the Universe" already ruined the Beatles.

As a huge Beatles fan, I was very disappointed with that movie.

It's a real shame that you're missing out on a whole lot of the good things in life. Did your mama drop you on your head while she was watching "Singing in the Rain'?
I don't watch it, but as long as there isn't a Michael Bolton retrospective....they should do just fine.
