In my book, a clutch triple and a game winning solo homer to center field ALMOST makes up for the fact that Freese dropped a routine fly ball on his head in the 5th.
Berkman is my pick for MVP tonight. He either crossed the bag or drove in 6 of the 10* runs, made smart choices on base (for a slow old guy) and generally picked up some slack. Not to mention: caught fly balls hit to him. He goes out and does his job, every game.
That might be the sloppiest big league game I've ever seen, but it was also easily the most dramatic. Glad I was there.

*EDIT: Oops, 4 of 10. When the game looked about wrapped up in the 8th, he had a hand in 4 of 6 on the board, but by the time the 11th was over, the 8th inning seemed like a different game.
