(Powers that be can delete if this isn't kosher)

Sharing this as a friend of a friend. I've met them, they're good people. Touring musicians that had a really E36 M3ty thing happen and can use a little help. I've got $10 to spare, anyone else?

Our band Curse of Cassandra is on tour with our our two cats Asia and Armand. After playing a wonderful show in St. Louis, we stopped for lunch and parked the rv in the parking lot of the restaurant. In broad daylight in a busy, seemingly safe restaurant lot theives drilled a hole into the passenger side door and broke in. We were alerted to the break in when two kind people living in the neighborhood rescued our cats, who were running around the parking lot and found us inside. We ran out to find the rv door wide open and many of our essential items gone. Both of our laptops were stolen, our main synthesizer, half of our merch, microphones, keyboard stands and other related items. The police report we filed estimated the loss at around $10,000. We are asking for help replacing only what we need in the short term to make it to Louisville and Cincinnati next weekend for important shows we have booked. Any small amount helps. Thank you to everyone that has reached out to help and given us support. We are truly grateful to have so many kind and loving people in our lives. We are reeling from the break in but we want to continue on as a band and are so lucky the cats are safe and that we are unharmed.

There's a serious rash of that E36 M3 going on, specifically in St. Louis. I know members of a metal band that had the same thing happen there. It must be a ring that knows exactly what to look for. My sympathy to these guys too.

Who would steal merch anyway? Seems very odd because it means they like the band.....but want to steal from them? Weird

As a musician too this gots close to home

Or they know there are fans who would buy said items.

Daylight in a busy parkinglot, I would have thought someone drilling a hole in the door would catch someone's attention. Apparently not.

Those locks are so flimsy, a decent drill bit can chew through them in almost no time at all. Unfortunately about the only thing they're good for is keeping an honest man honest.
