A sign of the times, I suppose.
The Golden Age of Trucking Museum in Middlebury, Ct., will be closing next tuesday, the 20th after the local cruise in.
It's a small, but interesting place to visit with not only trucks, but some interesting cars and a few boats.

If you're going through CT this weekend, (lots going on this weekend, I know) you may want to stop in for their last hurrah. No news on what's going to happen to the collection.
The museum staff are seeking funds in the hopes of reopening, so it isn't over until it's over! If they can find enough funds, they will reopen.
As for the museum's size, it's so big - 32,000-square feet!
Some places are described as having something for everyone. The Golden Age of Trucking Museum truly does. In the past week, I've seen women in their 30s, men in their 90s, women in their 80s, two tour buses filled with Lionel train enthusiasts. It's been amazing. It will be hard to see it go, but we're all hoping for the best and hope people want to keep the museum going!
I'm not affiliated with the museum, just a hopeful fan.
