Looking to add custom footplates in my oldie. Manufacturers are not very eager to respond, though. Probably because I only need 2 parts. Looked at Xometry and this place as well. Xometry was really expensive and the second place doesn't have many reviews, so not sure if I could expect quality. I have the CAD files ready, so any suggestions for someone in the NJ area or better yet, a trustworthy online service?

Emachineshop.com can be decent for "no job too small" type work - they appear to be more of a broker nowadays, as they seem to farm the work out to other job shops. I typically would start by searching ThomasNet for the sort of machining work you need. They're like a Yellow Pages (actually green pages back when they were in print) for industrial services.

you would think someone would be a broker for small CNC shops in China etc , Since the shipping is so cheap it could work out price wise
